Jina Lanier
«True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived.» Aadil Palkhivala
At 30 years old, Jina has a conventional life. She graduated an MBA from the University of Geneva and continued her career in accounting also following evening classes in foreign languages and sharing her life with her partner.
Her attraction to mystical sciences such as tarot cards and Astrology, which she is very interested in since childhood, makes her “an original person”.
Sagittarius with an Aquarius ascendant, she is interested in everything that is unknown to her but her most ardent desire remaining is travelling.
Despite her resistances, the universe decided that it was time for her to fly away. After a facial paralysis, a lay-off, a brutal breakup, a burnout and a growing depression, Jina realized that it was not the time to doubt anymore but rather to go on an adventure, to go traveling, traveling within herself ….
It is in 2015 that she flew to Koh Phangan (Thailand), in order to attend Yoga classes. A few days after her arrival, she decided not to return to Switzerland and instead to follow the rich trainings offered by Agama, the Tantric school in which she is student.
One year and 900 hours of Yoga later, Jina is a graduated Yoga teacher by his spiritual guide, Swami Vivekananda Saraswati.
Yoga has become a way of life, the union between the body and the mind and the beginning of a wonderful quest to the path of enlightenment.
During initiatory journey, Jina also became a Reiki Master in the genealogical lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui. She was also part of several women circles in order to embrace her femininity. She also followed Tantra, Astrology and Tarot workshops.
Her thankfulness and gratitude are dedicated to Swami Vivekananda Saraswati and all the teachers and therapists who allowed her to follow her spiritual path.
